What kind of changes will happen in the travel industry in the future? Under the guidance of the Zhejiang Development and Reform Commission, hosted by the China EV 100, China Info 100, the People’s Government of Huzhou City, and organized by the the People’s Government of Deqing County and Huzhou Moganshan High-tech Zone Management Committee "Global Future Mobility Conference 2019" was held in Deqing from Oct. 25th to Oct. 27th. The theme of the conference is “Embracing the travel revolution”. Professor Yuan Zhongzhi, Vice President and CTO of EVE, was invited to attend the "Forum on Future Power Battery Technology Transformation" on Oct. 26th and delivered a wonderful lecture on "lithium-ion battery capacitors and their applications in the field of EV".
As one of the core technologies of new energy vehicles, the battery system is a key part that determines vehicle life, power performance, safety, and handling. Only with the continuous breakthrough of battery system technology will future vehicles be more convenient, environmentally friendly, smarter, and safer. So, how to improve the safety of new energy vehicles and how to help new energy vehicles improve efficiency through the improvement of battery technology?
Professor Yuan shared at the forum that EVE's innovative patent technology-lithium ion battery capacitors, is a new type of energy storage device between chemical capacitors and lithium ion batteries. It has characteristics of high power and high energy density. Its power density can reach 10 to 100 times that of rechargeable batteries. It also has fast charge and discharge characteristics, wider environmental adaptability and long life. Based on charge, discharge, volume, weight, and lifetime evaluations, EVE’s lithium-ion battery capacitor power solution can better meet automotive 48V start-stop power and HEV battery system requirements, providing a better user experience.
At the forum, Professor Yuan, together with representatives and experts from industry organizations and power battery industrial chain, conducted a round-table discussion on "development opportunities for the next-generation power industry". The invention and commercial use of lithium batteries have subtly changed the human lifestyle. What play a leading role in the fourth industrial revolution are the lithium-ion batteries, AI, and IoT instead of IT technology. It is the ET (Energy and Environmental Technology) revolution.
