From October 18 to 21, the 9th National Water Meter Industry Technical Exchange Conference was officially held in Huizhou, Guangdong. On October 20th, over 130 members of the Water Meter Working Committee and high-level representatives of leading enterprises in the water meter industry visited EVE. Leaders such as He Yingshen, Vice President of EVE, Yi Jiehui, General Manager of Lithium Battery Sales Center, and Cao Lang, President of Lithium Battery Research Institute, attended the event and exchanged ideas, jointly focusing on the upgrade of smart water meter technology and promoting the high-quality development of the water meter industry.
Innovative lithium battery, empowering smart water meters
The delegation made a visit to the self-developed fourth generation ER battery production line, the industry's advanced consumer battery customized factory, the world's leading SPC production line and the 29th factory of EVE, gaining a deeper understanding of EVE’s Ultimate Manufacturing.
They also visited the "Lithium Battery World" themed exhibition hall of EVE, highly praised and recognized EVE's high-quality development, strong research and development team, ultimate manufacturing level, and comprehensive solutions.
Under the guidance of the "dual carbon" goal, EVE actively explores green innovation in lithium batteries and has achieved good results in low-carbon manufacturing. It actively transitions to "digitalization" and uses new technologies such as artificial intelligence, image recognition, machine learning, and predictive algorithms to create an efficient and intelligent factory. It conducts quality control points throughout the entire process, comprehensively monitors information technology, continuously breaks industry standards, and strives to create 100% products for customers. At present, the production bases in Huizhou and Jingmen have been rated as "national green factories".
Empowering Smart Water Meters to Create a Green Future Together
At the meeting, Yi Jiehui, the General Manager of Lithium Battery Sales Center, shared his gratitude to the industry partners for their full trust and high recognition of EVE. In the future, EVE will continue to adhere to technological innovation, continuously improve our research and development capabilities, create new demands with new products, and drive the high-quality and sustainable development of the industry.
Cao Lang, President of EVE’s Research Institute, published a special report on "High Reliability Smart Water Meter Power Solution" based on the requirements of smart water meter applications, focusing on sharing the performance advantages of ER+SPC power solutions and standardized solutions for smart water meter power supply.
The report points out that the standardized solution of ER+SPC has performance characteristics such as long service life, high reliability, stability, and high safety. It has over 12 years of practical application experience and has been unanimously recognized by customers. Taking ER34615C as an example, the exploration work of EVE in the next generation smart meter power supply solution was introduced.
Innovative lithium battery, empowering smart water meters. As of now, EVE has provided over 1.7 billion smart meter batteries globally. The sales and export volume of primary lithium batteries has consistently ranked No. 1 in China for 7 years, and ER battery was selected as China’s Single-Champion product in manufacturing industry in 2022. In the future, EVE will continue to promote technological innovation and empower the construction of smart water.
