EVE Energy has previously established extensive cooperative relations with WHU in the fields of new materials and cutting-edge technologies and has conducted comprehensive dialogues with UD during the early stages of factory construction in Hungary. Thanks to the excellent R&D platform and a strong international and systematic R&D team, EVE Energy continues to conquer  the core technology of lithium batteries and has applied for over 9,200 national and overseas patents. It has successively been approved to establish a "Post-Doctoral Programme," "National and Local Joint Engineering Research Center for Key Technologies and Materials of Lithium Batteries," and "National Certified Enterprise Technology Center," etc.

EVE Energy will actively provide internship and practical support for students and researchers from the two universities, assisting them in completing their R&D plans. It is expected that by the third quarter of 2027, practice bases will be established in Debrecen, Hungary, and Jingmen, Hubei, China, to further deepen industry-academia-research cooperation and jointly cultivate high-quality professionals. In addition, the three parties will jointly apply for scientific research projects, regularly hold technical exchange meetings to promote the accelerated transformation of scientific research results into industry applications.

Coordination Domestically and Internationally for a Sustainable Future

Dr. Liu Jincheng, Chairman of EVE Energy, said in his speech, "EVE Energy, after 23 years of rapid development, has become a globally competitive lithium battery platform company. Our cooperation with WHU and UD will not only promote technological innovation in the lithium battery industry but also make a greater contribution to the green energy transition in Hungary and the world."

Dr. Liu Jincheng, Chairman of EVE Energy

EVE Energy is a lithium battery platform company with core technologies and comprehensive solutions for consumer batteries, power batteries, and energy storage batteries. As a supplier to the BMW Group, EVE Energy is building an advanced battery factory in the northwest industrial zone of Debrecen, covering an area of about 450,000 square meters. The project is expected to be completed and put into operation in 2027, creating about 1,000 local jobs.

This cooperation is not only an important reflection of EVE Energy's globalization strategy but also a concrete practice of Chinese enterprises committed to promoting global sustainable development.

We firmly believe that through the joint efforts and wisdom of EVE Energy, Wuhan University, and the University of Debrecen, new momentum will be injected into the sustainable development of the global lithium battery industry, contributing to the global energy transition and creating a better green future.
