On May 10, 2019, the 3.6MWh distributed energy storage operation project of Jialiyuan Plastics in Shunde District, Foshan City was officially connected to the grid, marking the official entry into the profit stage of the EPC (Energy Performance Contracting) cooperation between Yixing Energy and Jialiyuan. This project is managed by Wuhan Yixing Energy Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of EVE.
The scale of this project is 1000kW/3.6MWh. It adopts 380V low-voltage grid connection and consists of two sets of 40ft standard container energy storage systems. Each energy storage system is 500kW/1.8MWh and use LPF cell—safe and stable. Started from March 2019, the project was successfully put into operation as planned after strict and meticulous construction management.
The cooperation period between the two parties is 10 years. Main income comes from peak-cutting and basic electricity tariff optimization. The project can save 2.14 million kWh of electricity per year for the industrial park, and it is estimated that the total coal equivalent is about 7,700 tons during the operation period, achieving good social benefits and environmental protection benefits, becoming distributed energy storage demonstration power station of Foshan City, and will drive the application and promotion of energy storage.
Positioned to become a leading enterprise in the field of smart energy storage operation, the operation scale of Wuhan Yixing Energy is supposed to reach 100MWh in 2019. It relieson the high-quality lithium-ion batteries and battery systems of its parent company, taps the commercial value of energy storage and meanwhile strengthensEVE group’s brand position in the field of lithium batteries and energy storage.
