On September 6, EVE Power Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred to as "EVE Power"), the subsidiary of EVE Energy Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "EVE Energy") signed a Memorandum of Understanding (hereinafter referred to as "MOU") with Rimac Technology d.o.o. (hereinafter referred to as “Rimac Technology”) at the IAA Mobility 2023.The signing ceremony was attended and witnessed by key executives from both companies, including Mr. Mate Rimac, Founder and CEO of Rimac Group, Dr. Liu Jincheng, Founder and Chairman of EVE Energy, and Alexander Holden, Senior Vice President of EVE Power's International OEM Department.
At the signing ceremony, Mr. Mate Rimac, Founder and CEO of Rimac Group and Dr. Liu Jincheng, Founder and Chairman of EVE Energy signed the MOU on behalf of their companies.
According to the MOU, both parties will join forces to manufacture cutting-edge battery products in Europe from 2027 onwards and create a localized sustainable electric vehicle supply chain, thereby contributing to the green transformation in transportation and energy in Europe. EVE Energy’s 46 series cylindrical batteries, renowned for their high performance and safety features, will be used in Rimac's innovative 46 series battery platform. EVE will focus on cell manufacturing while Rimac Technology will focus on the development and high-volume production of a battery module and pack platform using the cells. This cost-effective and fully customizable solution provides high energy density, high-performance CTP battery systems, and advanced thermal management systems while meeting industry requirements.
