Gathering of Industry Benchmarks! EVE Energy Attends the Turkey Battery Technologies Summit 2023 and Delivers a Keynote Speech

The Turkey Battery Technologies Summit 2023 hosted by the Battery, Battery Pack Manufacturers and Suppliers Association was held in Turkey on November 22-23. The Summit aims to bring together the pioneers of the industry with innovative minds and to convey the latest technological trends.

Bowen Meng, General Manager of EVE Energy Storage Solution Center and Cheryl Wang, Director of EVE Energy Lithium Battery Overseas Sales Center were invited to attend the Summit and deliver keynote speeches respectively to jointly discuss the future of the industry.

At the Summit, Director Cheryl Wang delivered a keynote speech on "Power Your Systems". The speech focused on EVE Energy's R&D and innovation strength, capabilities of "global manufacturing, global delivery, and global service", and comprehensive power supply solutions, as well as the aim of EVE Energy to realize infinite possibilities of lithium batteries and smart life.

As a world-leading lithium battery enterprise, EVE Energy's primary lithium batteries are at the forefront globally, ranking first in sales and export volume in China for seven consecutive years. Its Li-SOCl₂ batteries have won the title of "National Single Champion Product in Manufacturing Industry", and it has provided more than 1.9 billion smart meter batteries to the world. Moreover, its primary lithium batteries are widely used in intelligent security, intelligent transportation, smart healthcare, smart retail, and other fields.

Ms. Cheryl Wang introduced that the comprehensive solutions of cylindrical cells developed by EVE Energy cover all sizes of 14/18/21/33/40/46, meet various requirements such as high-energy density, high rate discharge, and long life cycle, and can realize all-scenario matching. At present, EVE Energy has provided more than 2.1 billion cylindrical cells to customers around the world. In 2022, its market share of cylindrical cells ranked among the top four in the world and first among domestic brands. It serves the top ten global brands of gardening tools and power tools, winning unanimous praise from industry customers, and will resolutely achieve high standards in the industry and gain further recognition from customers.

Facing the fast-growing energy storage market in Turkey and around the world, Bowen Meng, General Manager of EVE Energy Storage Solution Center, delivered a forward-looking keynote speech titled "New ESS Solution Superb Response to TWh Era". He pointed out that we are currently at a turning point when the global energy storage development moves from the GWh era towards the TWh era. While large-scale and long-term energy storage projects are developing rapidly, there are major challenges in safety, management, and economic benefits.

In order to effectively cope with these challenges, Mr. Bowen Meng introduced the system solutions of EVE Energy in detail, including 3.44MWh, 4MWh, and 5MWh systems. Based on the characteristics of Turkey's 1P demand, he focused on the overall improvement of the 3.44MWh system in safety, economy, and convenience compared with the 2.2MWh system. For example, the upgrade of liquid cooling temperature control significantly improves the heat dissipation efficiency and makes the system safer and more reliable. Moreover, the upgraded battery cell with higher energy density reduces the cost per kWh by 21.68%, thus reducing the operating cost for customers. In addition, through extremely compact and efficient design, the installation and commissioning time is reduced by 65%, which brings customers a more convenient experience.

For several years, EVE Energy has been leading the development with innovative technologies. Its K-series battery cell products have been in the market for seven years and have received widespread praise from customers. This year, EVE Energy upgraded its "Mr.big" and achieved a breakthrough in increasing the capacity of energy storage cells to 628Ah, which is the first super-large laminated smart cell in the industry. In addition, the "Mr.Giant—5MWh Energy Storage System" equipped with super-large laminated smart cells has been launched, redefining ESS (energy storage system) with three advantages of "Easier, Safer, and Superb-economic". Therefore, Mr. Bowen Meng stressed at the Summit that "Mr. Giant" has adopted cutting-edge technologies to solve problems such as thermal runaway and difficulty in battery system management, as well as issues related to the economy in the era of large-scale power stations.
